Privacy Policy

Manolab, LLC  ·  Effective date: April 18, 2026  ·  support@dbo.io

We wrote this to be read, not just filed. It covers what we collect, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it. If something isn't clear, email us.

Who we are

dbo.io is a product of Manolab, LLC. We build schema-driven application infrastructure for developers. This policy covers the dbo.io website and any communications related to early access, onboarding, and product use.

What we collect and why

We collect information in two ways: when you actively give it to us, and when your browser shares it automatically as part of normal web requests.

Request Access form. When you submit an access request, we collect your first name, last name, email address, optionally your company name, what you're building, and how you heard about us. We use this to evaluate whether dbo.io is a good fit for you at this stage, and to reach out with access details or updates. We don't add you to marketing lists or sell this data.

Email communication. If you contact us at support@dbo.io, we receive whatever you include in the message. We use it to respond. We don't forward it to third parties.

Server logs. Like any web server, ours records standard HTTP request data — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, timestamps. These logs are used for security monitoring and diagnosing issues. They are not used to build profiles and are not shared.

What we don't do

  • We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
  • We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels on this site.
  • We do not use cookies beyond what is technically necessary to serve the site.
  • We do not send you marketing email without your explicit opt-in.

How we store and protect your data

Access request submissions are stored securely and accessible only to the dbo.io team. We apply standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on all pages. No security measure is perfect, but protecting your data is something we take seriously.

We retain request data for as long as it is relevant to your access status or our relationship with you. If you ask us to delete it, we will.

Third-party services

This site is hosted on standard web infrastructure. We may use transactional email services to send access confirmations or product updates. These services process your email address on our behalf and are contractually prohibited from using it for their own purposes.

We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any other behavioral tracking service on this site.

Your rights

Regardless of where you are in the world, you can:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is inaccurate.
  • Delete your data from our systems.
  • Withdraw any consent you've given us at any time.
  • Object to how we're using your information.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@dbo.io. We'll respond within 30 days.

Children

dbo.io is a developer tool intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify active users by email. Continuing to use dbo.io after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.

Ready to stop writing the middle tier?

dbo.io is invite-only. We work with a small number of early partners to make sure the integration is set up right. Tell us about what you're building.
